Dr Milind Desai, a cardiologist from Curchorem, joined BJP and he was welcomed into the party by BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade.Dr Desai practised medicine for the last 20 years in Goa, London and for a few months in the US.
“During the Covid pandemic, we realised that social connect is important in serving people and that is the reason I joined BJP,” said Dr Desai.
BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanavade said educationists and professionals have been joining the BJP.
“More are likely to join the BJP in the next few days. Dr Desai will be involved in the BJP medical cell in future,” said Tanavade.
