MARGAO: Carmona will hold a special gram sabha on February 10 to prioritise and approve the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) prepared by the VDC.
After an initial meet on January 26 to start formulating the plan, the village went through a hectic schedule by forming a Resource & Planning Team followed by a 3-day situation analysis comprising of sector visits.
The draft GPDP will be placed at the body and VDC meeting on February 8 after gathering inputs from all sections of the village, followed by a gram sabha on September 10.
The final GPDP proposal is also scheduled to be cleared by the body on February 14 so that the same can be submitted to the BDO by February 15.
