PONDA:
Cash and jewellery worth about Rs 1.9 lakh were stolen from a flat in Prabhunagar-Curti on Tuesday.
According to police reports, burglars broke into two flats which were unoccupied at the time, and stole cash and jewellery worth about Rs 1.9 lakh from one flat.
Ponda police conducted investigations at the site and has registered a case in the matter.
OLD GOA:A lorry truck fell on its side at the start of the Bambolim-Agassaim flyover in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.No injuries were reported in the mishap even as the traffic was disrupted for a while.Police sources informed that the truck was proceeding towards the Agassaim when the driver lost control upon reaching the Bambolim flyover and hit the divider causing the truck to fall on its side.
