Catechetical course concludes
CANACONA: Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrão has stated that catechists have been called, formed and sent out to proclaim the message, just as Jesus had called His apostles to be with Him and sent them out.
“Catechists need to continue Jesus' mission throughout their lives,” said Archbishop Ferrão, while delivering his homily at a mass on the occasion of the catechetical course organised by the Diocesan Catechetical Centre (DCC) for catechists of Canacona Deanery at St Theresa of Jesus Church, Chaudi, Canacona. The catechists from other deaneries had a separate course at the Pastoral Institute St Pius X in Old Goa. 90 catechists from Canacona Deanery and 151 catechists from Old Goa group received a diploma and a token.
