Catholic schools hold convention
PANAJI: All India Association of Catholic Schools organized their convention from October 9 to 12, at Juze Vaz center, Old Goa.
The Goa State Education secretary was the chief guest at the inaugural function of the convention with the theme: Education of the three 'H.'
More than 557 delegates which comprised heads of schools from all over India attended the convention.
The three sessions were on Education of the ‘3 H’: by Dr Ravindran - an education psychologist; Who is a true educator of the Heart? by Dr G Balasubramanian ex chairman of CBSE and the new National Education Policy by Fr Joseph Manipadam - CBCI member
Fr Dominic Savio Fernandes, Headmaster of Pope John XXIII High school was the local coordinator.
