Thackeray's Goa visit today
MARGAO: Charging the government with misleading the youth of the State, the chief of the State Shiv Sena unit, Sudeep Tamhankar, called on the people to make efforts to make the workshop to be held on October 16, in Goa a grand success.
Addressing a gathering in Salcete, Tamhankar, cited examples of assurances of the present government that remained unfulfilled. He said no inquiry has been conducted into the mining scam, the casinos still continue to operate in River Mandovi, people find it difficult to build dwellings in the absence of a final Regional Plan. He also referred to the MoI issue and the birth of the Goa Suraksha Manch.
Tamhankar urged the Shiv Sena workers to take the principles of the Sena to the grassroots level. He claimed the workshop on Sunday will be guided by Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut.
