Crime Branch of Goa Police on Monday filed the chargesheet listing six accused persons in the case of gruesome daylight murder of Margao-based jewelers Swapnil Walke.
The chargesheet has been filed before the Margao court against Evender Rodrigues, Mustafa Shaikh and Omkar Patil for murder. Three other accused namely Kundan Kumar, Rahul Kumar and Sunny Kumar, all natives of Bihar, have been named for offences under the Arms Act.
It may be recalled that Walke was shot at and then stabbed to death on September 2 during a robbery attempt that went awry.
The three main accused persons were detained within a day by Goa Police.
