“Though the State Cabinet contains elected representatives of different parties having diverse ideologies, their aim is the same and that is to make the progress of Goa by retaining the identity of
Goa and Goemkarponn,” stated Khaunte.
He was speaking at a function organized by Nabhik Samaj at Socorro Panchayat hall to felicitate him, Deputy Speaker Michael Lobo and Housing Board Minister Jayesh Salgaonkar.
“The existing Tenancy Act will be amended within 6 months and the cases pending in the court will be transferred to the Mamlatdar office and decided on fast track basis,” he said.
“The industries which has got potential of providing employment to Goan youth and which will not harm the environment will be set up in the State,” said Khaunte.
Michael Lobo said people have lot of expectations from the government and the entire team of ministers and MLAs would work under the leadership of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
Jayesh Salgaonkar appealed to Nabhik Samaj to work for the progress of the Samaj.
Suraj Borkar, Sandeep Salagonkar and Nabhik Samaj president Sandeep Manjrekar also spoke on the occasion.
Rohan Khaunte, Michael Lobo and Jayesh Salgaonkar were felicitated on the occasion.
Earlier, Rajendra Amonkar welcomed, Resha Amonkar compered and Sneha Surlakar proposed the vote of thanks.
