Cutbona fishing jetty witnessed an uproar after a vehicle was found selling LPG cylinders.
As locals claimed that the cylinders were allegedly underweight, the Cuncolim police were intimated of the incident.
Cuncolim police station in charge PI Tukaram Chawan informed that since the locals claimed that the cylinders were allegedly underweight, officials of the Legal Metrology were called in to carry out the investigation.
He said the police will initiate further action based on the report from the Legal Metrology officials.
Residents claimed the vehicle with driver was found selling cylinders at the Cutbona jetty, adding that the cylinders were allegedly found underweight.
The locals brought the driver to the Assolna police outpost, before the police referred him to weights and measures for further action.
