Christmas celebrated with slum kids
PANAJI: JCI Vasco conducted a programme 'The joy of giving' for slum children under their pilot project ‘Gurukul’ an initiative for slum children on the eve of Christmas. A Christmas parade was held in the slums of Baina where the members distributed sweets and Christmas gifts to the unprivileged slum children along with singing of Christmas carols.
The slum children moved out of their houses and actively participated in the celebrations. The project manager Pradeep Korgaokar proposed the vote of thanks.
