Circumcision camp at Vasco

VASCO: The New Vaddem Suni Youth Association will organize a free Khatna (circumcision) camp for Mormugao Taluka near Noorani Masjid at New Vaddem, Vasco, on November 6, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The Association has requested those who are interested to enroll their child’s name before November 2. Application forms are available at masjids in Mormugao taluka and further details are available with Rizwan Khan, states a press note.

VASCO Many parishioners of Our Lady of Candelaria in Baina still have fond memories of Mother Teresa when she had visited the place to lay the foundation stone for the chapel. A cross was built on January 16, 1977, while the foundation stone for the chapel was laid by Mother Teresa on October 28, 1986.
