Other present at the function included Sakhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant, BJP Mandal President Pradeep Gawade, BJP general secretary Subhash Fondekar, State BJP Committee Member Mangaldas Gawas.
Speaking on the occasion, Parsekar said the BJP has undertaken several social projects for the benefit of poor and downtrodden segments community in Goa, due to which people from the main opposition Congress party were now joining the BJP.
“At present, of the nine Congress party MLAs, only 2 MLAs are working for the party,” said Parsekar. He also sought to wonder why had the Congress party not undertaken any social welfare scheme like the BJP in the last 27 years.
