South Goa district Collector, Egna Cleetus chaired a special meeting in the presence of Vasco MLA Krishna Daji Salkar on the issue of the transfer of defence land at Trishul Enclave to the Government of Goa.
The meeting was attended by officers of the Indian Navy, SDM and Mamlatdar of Mormugao Taluka, the Inspector of Survey and Land Records (ISLR), and officials from the Public Works Department (PWD).
During the meeting, it was decided that the mutation records and title documents pertaining to the land would be scrutinised. It was further resolved that a survey plan of the land would be prepared. These tasks will be undertaken and coordinated by the designated Nodal Officer to facilitate the process of transfer of the defence land to the State Government of Goa.
