The Colva Police staff along with the assistance of vigilant local citizens caught four suspected persons, all residents of Malcornem village, Quepem for moving suspiciously on Colva beach and recovered Tata Ace along with one outboard boat motor.
The police said the suspects confessed that they had committed theft of the boat motor from Canacona police station jurisdiction.
All four persons have been arrested by Colva PS. The outboard boat motor is worth Rs 1,50,000.
The police is investigating the matter further.
