Colva youth stabbed, one held

MARGAO: The police have arrested a 24-year-old man, who is suspected to have stabbed a 21-year-old youth at Mobor-Cavelossim on December 19.
According to police, the incident occurred early on the morning of December 19, as a result of a clash between the two in a shack. Police said the victim, one Atish Kavitiye (21), a resident of Colva, was allegedly stabbed by the suspect, Aaron Fernandes (24), a resident of Fatorda, when the argument went out of hand.
Police said the victim was slashed with a knife on the rear of his head.
The police arrested the suspect, Aaron, on December 20. An offence has been registered under Section 326 of IPC.
Further investigations are in progress.
