Congress candidates for the 2022 Assembly elections on Saturday pledged before God at the Mahalaxmi temple in Panaji and Fulancho Khuris at Bambolim that they will not defect after getting elected.
With defections becoming a norm in Goan politics, political parties have started coming up with various methods to convince the voters that their candidates will not leave the party after getting elected.
Earlier, AAP had announced that they will make their candidates sign an affidavit that they will not defect.
