Cong makes presence felt at Chimbel
OLD GOA: The election campaigning has almost reached the final stages, but it was only on Friday that Congress candidate Tony Fernandes made his presence felt at Indira Nagar-Chimbel, where about 5,000 votes are at stake.
Though Fernandes arrived for campaigning at the locality with a large number of supporters accompanying him in the area.
Accompanying Fernandes was his better half and Santa Cruz Sarpanch Indira Fernandes, former Chimbel sarpanch Manisha Chopdekar, former Chimbel deputy sarpanch Rajesh Vernekar, former Merces sarpanch Yateen Palekar and other panchas.
