Congress sources further said that a number of party observers have fanned across the state visiting the constituencies, apparently trying to obtain feedback from the electorate to help the party draw up its poll strategy.
While Digvijaya is scheduled to inaugurate the three-day state level training program for Congress Seva Dal workers at Fatorpa village on September 23, he along with Chella Kumar is expected to hold an interaction with the Block presidents, Seva Dal presidents and chiefs of other frontal organizations the next day on September 24 at Panaji.
South Goa District President, Subhash Faldesai, said the party has chalked out a detailed program up to October 8, wherein a number of melavas and meetings have been planned across the state during the period.
Meanwhile, addressing the media here on Wednesday, Goa Seva Dal Chief organizer Shankar Kirlapankar said a host of party leaders, including Digvijaya Singh, Chella Kumar, Party president Luizinho Faleiro, leader of the opposition, Pratapsing Rane, former Chief Minister Digambar Kamat, party MLAs, Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik, AICC secretary Girish Chodankar are expected to attend the inaugural function of the three-day residential camp at Fatorpa village on September 23.
The camp assumes significance not just because it is organized at Fatorpa falling in Quepem constituency represented by Quepem MLA Babu Kavlekar, but the Seva Dal is organizing such a major camp after nearly a decade.
