Dekhava contest results declared
PANAJI: The results of the State-level Dekhava competition during Ganesh Chaturthi, organised by Directorate of Art and Culture have been declared.
Kshatriya Marath Samaj, Shri Panchayatan Mandir, Rambhuvan Wadda, Khumbarjua, Tiswadi, won the first prize; Kunkalikar Bal Kala Mandal, Hanso Wada, Madkai, Ponda, won the second prize and Kala Yuvak Sangh (Juvecha Raja), Juvem, St Estevam, Marcel, won the third prize.
Consolation prizes were given to Shantadurga Kala Krida Sangh, Non-Mon, Vasco, Shree Sarvajanik Ganesh Utsav, Netravali, Sanguem, SK Joging Sanskrutik Mandal, Canca Bandh, Mapusa, Yuva, Mala, Panaji and Ganaraj Kala Mandal, Marcela, Ponda.
Sachin Naik, Rajesh Salgaonkar and Ekanath Mahale judged the competition.
The winners will be awarded certificates and cash prizes at a special function to be organized shortly.
