Newly elected Corlim ZP member Siddesh Naik paid a visit to the Cumbarjua panchayat on Saturday to apprise himself on development projects that could be undertaken in the village under ZP funds.
Speaking to The Goan on his visit, Naik said he has advised the sarpanch and panchas to submit proposals for development in Cumbarjua village.
"I have asked them to submit proposals along with resolutions so that the same could be taken up under different funds like ST fund, general development," Naik informed.
“This was the first panchayat I visited after getting elected as ZP member and in the coming days, I will visit other panchayats in my ZP constituency,” he added while stating that on Monday he has plans to visit St Estevam, Corlim and Se-Old Goa panchayats.
"I will ensure that I visit all other panchayats which come under the Corlim ZP constituency," he stated.
