Cornerstone for garden at Curti
PONDA: Ponda MLA Lavu Mamledar laid the foundation stone for a garden at Prabhunagar in Curti-Ponda.
The project is estimated to cost Rs 5 lakh and will be undertaken by the South Goa Zilla Panchayat. Curti ZP member Mohan Verenkar, Ramkrishna Bhat, Lata Bhat, Vinodkumar Rane, Vivek Prahudesai, Vivek Verenkar and others were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Mamledar said it is necessary to have gardens for children in the locality. “I appreciate the efforts of Verenkar to take up such a project here,” Mamledar said.
