A delegation of Mahajans and Shree Mallikarjun Devasthan Avem-Cotigao committee met Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and State BJP Chief Damu Naik over the cancellation of work order issued for beautification and renovation of their temple.
After the delegation handed over a memorandum on the temple development project, the chief minister is reported to have assured to personally review the matter, expedite the process and ensure the development work begins at the earliest.
The Mahajans expressed confidence in the CM’s commitment towards preserving the temple and serving the interests of the devotees.
The Mahajans of Shri Mallikarjun Devasthan Avem-Cotigao, Canacona also met State BJP President Damu Naik separately and submitted a memorandum, seeking his support for the early commencement of the temple development project.
After giving a patient hearing Damu Naik reportedly assured his full support in expediting the process to the delegation.
During the interaction, Naik appreciated the dedicated efforts of Art & Culture Minister and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar, for taking-up the Shree Mallikarjun Devasthan development project from the planning stage to the verge of execution.
He further stated that sometimes the procedural hurdles are unavoidable in major public projects and should be viewed as part of the process.
Naik also expressing his confidence in Minister Ramesh Tawadkar's leadership and his continuous follow-up, assured the Mahajans that every effort would be made to ensure the project moves forward and that the work begins at the earliest.
