Canacona Councillor Shubham Komarpant was felicitated by the Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) at Canacona for donating 30 school benches during the recent HSSC board exams at the Canacona centre.
In a special function in the GHSS auditorium, school principal Rumaldina Debvhora Fernandes thanked Komarpant for his help in the need of the hour, which not only helped the institution conduct exams in the Canacona HSS, but also saved the trouble of students from travelling all the way to Margao to answer their exams.
According to Komarpant, the benches were fabricated within four days and made available for the whole of one exam block.
During the function, Canacona ADEI Govind Gaude and Professor Dr Rupa Chari appreciated Komarpant and Shree Ravi Charitable Trust for their positive and impactful work towards society.
GHSS Principal Fernandes also thanked the Trust and its members for the noble deed by Shubham Komarpant.
