Counting of votes for Mormugao Municipality Council will be taken up on Monday from 8 am onwards at MPT institute, Vasco.
Giving details, Dy Collector Sachin Desai in an oredr on Sunday said, round 1 will be for counting of votes from ward no 1 to ward no 6 between 8 to 9.15 am. Round 2 for counting of votes from ward no 7 to ward 12 between 9.30 to 10.45 am. Round 3 will taken up counting of votes from ward no 13 to ward no 17 between 11 am to 12.15 pm.
Round 4 will see counting of votes from ward no 18 to ward no 22 between 12.30 pm to 1.45 pm and Round 5 from ward no 23 to ward no 25 between 2 pm to 3.15 pm.
The order states that respective candidates should take note of the counting schedule and also inform their counting agents accordingly to remain present at the time specified in the schedule.
Meanwhile, the Dy Collector also issued an order directing all candidates not to organize rallies and meetings outside the counting venue on Monday.
