Bicholim Civil Court Judge Anuradha Andrade has passed an order against AAP leader Sanjay Singh, restraining him from making public statements maligning the image of Sulakshana Sawant till the suit is decided.
Sulakshana Sawant has filed a Rs 100 crore defamation case against Sanjay Singh.
Further, Singh has also been restrained from making any statements on social media or other platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, maligning the image of the Mrs Sawant.
The court has now fixed the case for December.
Former Advocate General of Maharashtra and Senior Advocate Sunil Manohar along with Adv Pralhad Paranjape, Adv Sanjay Sardesai, Adv Aniket Kunde and Adv Tirtha Pawar appeared for Sulakshana Sawant, while Adv Surel Tilve and Adv C Naik appeared for Sanjay Singh.
