Covid-19-related mortality continued to haunt Goa’s medical teams as five more were counted among the victims of the dreaded virus in the 24-hour reporting period of Saturday-Sunday raising the State’s cumulative pandemic toll to 3,208.
Among the five victims was a 96-year-old lady from Panajim and another 89-year-old woman from Colva. A 52-year-old and 65-year-old women from Betalbatim and Palolem respectively, besides a 82-year-old man from Devgad made up the five deaths in the last 24 hours.
