Curchorem residents confront health officer

Residents of Curchorem and councillors on Tuesday confronted the officials of the Curchorem Cacora Community Health Centre over the issue of alleged lapses while administering medical treatment to a local, who was later referred to the GMC Hospital.

the goan I networkrCURCHOREMr rSome residents of Curchorem along with Curchorem Cacora Municipal Council (CCMC) chairperson Sushant Naik, councillor Omkar Vast and others confronted the health officer, Mohandas Dessai and inquired about the case of one diabetic patient who recently became the victim of erroneous medical treatment at Curchorem Health Centre. The patient was later referred to GMC Hospital in Bambolim. rThe residents asked the health officer to inquire into the matter and take action for the negligence caused in Curchorem Health Centre and also told him that such negligence will never be tolerated in future.

No headway in Salcete’s desecration incidents
