Dabolim students, seniors feted

CORTALIM: BITS Pilani general manager Ashok Dhamal has commended the work carried out by Vidyanagar Residents Welfare Association at Dabolim.

Dhamal was the chief guest at the annual day celebrations of the Association.

Sancoale Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar highlighted various works undertaken by the panchayat with the cooperation of the association and assured further support to their activities.

On the occasion, Borkar felicitated meritorious students who scored distinction at the Board exams, while senior citizens above 70 years were felicitated with a shawl and srifal.

Earlier, Association president Edward Fernandes gave a brief presentation of the activities of the Association.
