DDSSY consultations at MHG
PANAJI: Manipal Hospitals Goa announced its partnership with the government and will now perform medical procedures or operations for people under Deen Dayal Swasthya Seve Yojna (DDSSY).
In order to help people know more about this scheme Manipal Hospitals Goa will be conducting free multispecialty consultation at the hospital every month on every first Saturday from November onwards for the next two months. The first consultation will be on Nov 5, from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Girish Babu Bommakanti, unit head, also informed that a 24/7 dedicated helpline has been launched on number 7722097533 for people who would want consultations on phone or who are in remote areas.
Dr Shekhar Salkar, chief of Clinical Services & HOD Oncology dept said that this is the best among all the schemes of Goa government, which could help the needy people in their health related problems.
