Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday assured to look into medical treatment for beneficiaries of ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) in the State.
This was stated by Vasco MLA Krishna Salkar after he had accompanied Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to meet and interact with the defence minister.
“During our discussion, the chief minister raised concerns brought forward by the United Veterans Association regarding medical treatment for ECHS beneficiaries in Goa, urging for a swift resolution to these issues,” said Salkar.
“The defence minister took note of the matter and assured us that he would look into it and resolve it at the earliest.”
