Dental camp held at Siolim
PANAJI: Village Panchayat Child Committee, Siolim-Marna, held a dental camp for students of St Francis Xavier High School-Siolim (primary section).
Dentist from Expressions Dental Clinic Mapusa conducted the camp led by Dr Sandeep. He was assisted by Dr Priya Parsekar who did the pre-dental check. Dr Sandeep gave a power-point presentation followed by a small movie clipping on brushing techniques which was presented in each of the classrooms through the smart boards.
In all 432 students were checked for oral hygiene. Children were given toothbrushes which were sponsored along with the information cards. The camp was initiated by chairperson Gregory D’Souza and committee member Lawrance Braganza.
