DoE workshop for teachers during Christmas holidays!

The Directorate of Education (DoE) in collaboration with the State Council for Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and the Goa Samagra Shiksha Teacher Education has organised a seminar/workshop on capacity building for all government and government-aided primary school teachers at four different locations between December 26 and 29. Teachers depending on their location will have to attend the workshop on one day only.   

Teachers from schools in Ponda (374 teachers), Dharbandora (98 teachers), Sanguem (109 teachers) and Canacona (160 teachers) have been called on Thursday December 26 to Ravindra Bhavan Margao from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Teachers from schools in Bicholim (259 teachers), Pernem (239 teachers) and Sattari (211 teachers) have been called on Friday, December 27, same time slot, at Ravindra Bhavan, Sanquelim.   

Teachers from Salcete (487 teachers), Quepem (209 teachers) and Mormugao (244 teachers), on Saturday, December 28 at Ravindra Bhavan Vasco, and teachers from Bardez (494 teachers) and Tiswadi (283 teachers) on Sunday, December 29 at Rajiv Kala Mandir, Ponda.   

A circular in this regard has been sent to the heads of government sided primary schools by Director of Education Vandana Rao IAS.   

Padmashree Dr Sharad Kale, a renowned professor and scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Center, Mumbai, will be the resource person
