Drama workshop held at Pilgao
BICHOLIM: Kalpavrurksha Pilgao in association with Nehru Yuwa Kendra (NYK) Panaji organised one-day drama workshop at Ideal High School, Pilgao.
Journalist Raghoba Pednekar was the chief guest while workshop coach and dramatist cum director Abhay Jog, founder chairman of the school Ramchandra Garde, deputy director of Goa AIDS Control Society Umakant Sawant and Sanstha president Ajay Prabhugaonkar were also present.
Raghoba said drama is an essential factor along with studies and hence every school should promote it. Ramchandra Garde and Umakant Sawant also spoke on the ocassion.
About 36 participants took part in the workshop. Somnath Pilgaonkar anchored the function, while Gautam Shirodkar proposed the vote of thanks.
