A car driver had a lucky escape when a car toppled along the Bicholim-Sakhali highway near Sarvan on Monday afternoon.
Bicholim police said the driver, Prajyot Shilakar of Sawaribhat-Velguem, was travelling in his car (GA-03-P-6454) to Velguem when he lost control of the vehicle and the car toppled.
Shilakar was quickly rescued by onlookers. The driver later stated that he had lost control of the car after the steering wheel got locked.
