DSE Christmas fiesta held in Panaji
PANAJI: The Diocesan Society of Education (DSE) annual Christmas fiesta was held on December 16, at Kala Academy Panaji, with the theme: Christmas a celebration of love and mercy.
The programme began with the lighting of the Advent candles by the dignitaries. The chief guest for he function was Nila Mohanan, Secretary of Education. She complimented the DSE for value-based education and for efforts in catering to the marginalized students of society.
In the cultural programme students presented various items consisting of Carols, dances, skit, mimes, and other items. Asst Secretary DSE, Fr Jesus Rodgriues, chief coordinator Mario Quadros, coordinator Russel Countino, managers, headmasters, principals, and students from DSE Schools were present.
Earlier, Fr Zeferino D’Souza secretary DSE, welcome the gathering and presented mementos to the heads of the participating institutions. Fr Arnold Pinho Asst Secretary DSE, proposed the vote of thanks.
