The Rotaract Club of Mapusa kicked off the Education Expo 2024 today at the Peddem stadium, with an aim to showcase the diverse career opportunities available for students. Scheduled from February 14 to 17, the expo promises an array of educational stalls and insightful talks by speakers hailing from various parts of India.
The expo was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, in his address, Sawant highlighted the importance of such expos in guiding students, teachers, and parents towards informed career decisions. "The expo is a great platform for students, teachers, and parents to explore the myriad educational and career prospects," said Sawant.
Furthermore, Sawant urged teachers from across the state to actively participate in the expo, highlighting the number of awareness sessions addressing various topics and issues. "I call upon all the teachers in the state to attend the expo as there will be various awareness talks on various topics and issues," he said.
In addition to shedding light on career paths, Sawant addressed the government's commitment to combatting addiction in Goa. "Young children are addicted to various things, not only drugs even the usage of mobile phones is an addiction, and hence we need to achieve an addiction-free Goa," stated Sawant.
