Rajya Sabha MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade said education must go hand in hand with culture to build an emotionally strong and responsible generation. He was speaking while handing over a school bus to Siddharth Bandodkar Higher Secondary School, Velguem, under the MPLADS scheme.
Tanavade said the institution, founded by Bhausaheb Bandodkar 60 years ago, has helped shape many successful professionals.
The new 45-seater bus is expected to improve transport facilities, especially for students from remote areas, reducing travel difficulties and helping improve attendance. Several local representatives, school officials and parents attended the function.
