Responding to St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar on non-development during his tenure, ex MLA Francisco Silveira outlined various developmental works undertaken during his four terms as MLA which he chided Borkar cannot see.
"I have done several developmental works during my four terms as MLA of St Andre but sadly current MLA Borkar cannot see it," Silveira told reporters in Panaji on Wednesday.
Further, Silveira took a dig at Borkar for questioning his visit to CM Pramod Sawant and said that as a member of BJP, he has every right to meet the CM and will continue to do so in the future.
When pointed out by The Goan that MLA Borkar had taken exception to his visit for getting government jobs to his supporters, Silveira said that he met CM over issues faced by his supporters in their jobs in the private sector.
"I never told the media, as claimed by Borkar, that I met the CM over government jobs. It was related to jobs in the private sector," Silveira claimed.
