Gaonkar along with another fish agent Pravin Naik made their presence felt at the Margao police station at around 3.30 am to lodge their complaint.
When The Goan contacted Margao PI C L Patil to shed light on the incident, he said the Margao police are investigating the matter. "We are trying to find out whether a person known to the victim is involved in the incident. The investigation is on," PI Patil said.
