According to Dabolim Police, CISF Inspector Pradeep Vasave was on a routine check at the screening counter when he found a live .88 mm bullet in the handbag of Gurudatta Kulkarni of Pune.
Kulkarni was in Goa and was scheduled to fly back to Pune on Wednesday afternoon by a SpiceJet flight.
During interrogation, Kulkarni failed to provide satisfactory explanation regarding the possession of the bullet and did not have any arms licence with him,
Dabolim Police later arrested Kulkarni under Section 3 r/w 25 of Arms Act and is investigating the case.
