Follow Parrikar's ideology: Arlekar
PONDA: Heaping praises on Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar, Panchayats Minister Rajendra Arlekar has advised youth interested in joining politics to follow the ideology of Parrikar.
He was speaking at a meeting of BJP workers at Priol. Former speaker Vishwas Satarkar, BJP Priol block president Satish Madkaikar, Bhoma Deputy Sarpanch Mahima Naik and others were present. “Parrikar has been leading a very simple lifestyle and he has helped BJP achieve many goals in Goa. With his innovative ideas, Parrikar has developed Goa and he is now giving a good shape to the Defence ministry. The youth should follow his ideology if they are interested in joining politics,” said Arlekar.
He appealed to the BJP workers to attend the 60th birthday celebrations of Parrikar on December 13.
Satarkar advised BJP workers to maintain unity for the betterment of Goa.
Earlier, Satish Madkaikar welcomed the gathering, while Pratap Volvoikar proposed the vote of thanks.
