Fomento Media will organise the ‘City on Cycle 2019’ on February 10 in Panaji and over 3,000 cyclists are expected to participate in this unique event, which seeks to promote fitness and healthy living among families.

One of the biggest Cyclothons organised in Goa, the ‘City on Cycle 2019’ will cover about 15-20 kms across various historical places across Panaji city, before participants return to Miramar. Participants are to report at Miramar Beach at 5 am. Refreshments and medical assistance will be provided along the route.

Fomento Media’s parent organisation, Sociedade de Fomento Industrial Pvt Ltd dedicates every second Sunday of February towards family. The ‘City on Cycle’ will be a step ahead of Fomento Media’s ‘Famathon 2018’ and it encourages people to keep moving along with their families. The ‘City on Cycle 2019’ provides an opportunity to take a step towards a fit and health family.

Earlier this year, Fomento Media had staged three events which drew a huge response from all over the State.

The ‘Famathon 2018’ was Goa’s first Family Marathon, where 2,000 families ran together with a social message of health and fit family.

The ‘Green Army’ was an initiative involving 1,000 students who volunteered to plan saplings and nurture them.

The ‘Fugdi Darshan 2018’ was an effort to showcase Goan traditional fold dance forms and create literature for youth. Through these events, Fomento Media seeks to convey a social message of building family values and getting closer to nature.
