In the wake of upcoming elections four Deputy Superintendents of Police have been transferred by the new Director General of Police, Pranab Nanda.
In the order issued on Wednesday, DGP Pranab
Nanda transferred Sammy Tavares from his position as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Mapusa to DySP Konkan Railway.
Also, Gajanan Prabhudesai has been transferred from his DySP (headquarters) posting to SDPO Mapusa.
Rajendra Raut Dessai has been given additional charge of SPCR Panaji relieving
him from his earlier posting as DySP Security and
DySp Economic offence cell Ezilda D’Souza has been given additional charge of
Deputy Superintendent of Police, headquarters.
