Four more deaths take Goa’s Covid toll to 290

The mortality bulletin of deceased patients has recorded four more patients taking the State’s Covid death toll to 290.

All four deceased patients were above the age of 70 and were admitted at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim owing to their critical condition. They passed away after receiving the mandated treatment at the State’s top medical institution for a period of seven to 11 days.

All patients had co-morbid conditions which included diabetes, hypertension, ischemic heart disease and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).

The deceased patients include a 75-year-old man from Querim in Pernem, a 73-year-old man from Arpora in Nagoa, a 72-year-old man from Assagao in Bardez and an 88-year-old woman from Sanquelim.
