A free health check-up camp was held on November 26 at Anganvadi-Manora, near Manora Ground as part of the 9th World Ayurveda Congress.
As part of the camp, an outreach Free Bone Mineral Density camp, ECG checkup with free distribution of medicines and counselling on healthy diet and lifestyle was conducted.
The camp coordinated by Dr Sneha Bhagwat and social worker Anthony Barbosa was attended by a team of doctors led by Dr Swapna Gaonkar.
Social worker and BJP ST leader, Anthony Barbosa said the camp has been organised at Manora-Raia as part of the series of camps organised on account of the World Ayurveda Congress.
He said a three-day World Ayurveda festival will be held in Panaji at the Kala Academy on December 8-11, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Barbosa has appealed to the people of Curtorim constituency to attend the festival and avail benefits.
