Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar will flag off the Gandhidham-Nagarcoil Express Train (16335) during its resumed halt on its way to Nagercoil at the Canacona KRC Station on Wednesday.
It will be the first halt of the weekly Gandhidham-Nagarcoil Express at Canacona KRC Station after resumption of train services post Covid lockdown.
The Nethravathi Express trains running daily on either side which have already resumed halts from April 2, after the Railway Board announced halts to two of the three long-distance trains at the Canacona KRC Station following agitations by people.
On Tuesday, Tawadkar’s office appealed to all BJP Mandal, karyakartas, senior citizens and Canconkars to join in large numbers, to flag-off the Gandhidham Express Train from the Canacona KR station at the hands of Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar.
