Alleging that the condition may have resulted from substandard construction work, the locals pointed out that a noticeable gap has appeared in the central portion of the flyover, leading to fears that it could pose a serious risk in the future if left unattended.
Panch member Daya Gavandi stated that a large number of heavy vehicles pass over the flyover during the night. “The movement of these vehicles generates loud noises, causing inconvenience to nearby residents and raising doubts among the public about the structural strength and stability of the bridge,” said Daya Gavandi.
Residents also highlighted the poor condition of the service roads alongside the highway. Several stretches are filled with mud and potholes, making travel hazardous, particularly for two-wheeler riders.
