Workshop on power procurement
PANAJI: Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry, jointly with PTC India Ltd (a GoI undertaking) is organizing a half-day workshop titled, 'Power Procurement through Open Access' on December 11, at its Convention hall at Panaji.
The programme is from 3 pm to 6 pm and will dwell on the available opportunities of reducing the electricity bill by availing open access as provided in EA 2003. Industrial and commercial establishments are saving 25 to 35 percent of the power purchase cost by procuring power through open access. Similar saving potential is also available for the power consumers of Goa.
