PANAJI: The three-day Budget Session of the Goa Legislative Assembly will begin from Monday, March 24.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will present the State Budget for 2025-26 on March 26, the final day of the session.
A total of 728 questions have been raised by MLAs for discussion.
On the first two-days, the discussion will take place on Motion of Thanks to Governor's address that wa tabled on February 6.
Opposition MLAs have strongly critized three day session . They said that the issues of "corruption, commission, mismanagement and the collapse of law and order" have forced the BJP to keep the session short.
The decision for only a three-day session suggests the government is afraid of facing the opposition and is evading its responsibility to deliver justice to the people, LoP Yuri Alemao said.
