It is basically to understand what we can adopt from them, right from cyber security, knowledge hubs, start-ups and incubation centres, among others. In these various things, they are far ahead of us. It is not that we have lost the bus.” r“So may be in another 15 days, we would be able to zero down on what are our priorities after discussing with Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar,” informed Khaunte. rIt may be recalled that The Goan Everyday had highlighted that Goa ranks 26th among the 36 states and union territories in the Country. rAs per the Electronic Transaction Aggregation and Analysis Layer (e-taal) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Goa has 31 e-services being provided to its citizens. The eight standard services listed are - Certificates, Commercial Tax, Industry and Commerce, Integrated Finance Management Services, Land Revenue, Public Distribution System, Transport and Utility Services and Bill Payment. rIn all, the number of e-transactions the State has witnessed from January 1 to June 7 2017 are 17,17,004 and e-transactions per 1000 population are 1178.45.
Goa delegation to visit Andhra
With Goa lagging far behind other states as far as the implementation of e-service is concerned, the State Government has planned to send a delegation Andhra Pradesh to study their e-services model.
